No – We have made the process much easier than ever before with everything online. The requirements around waivers and ensuring your details are 100% is our priority and hence the need to use online. This also makes for a far smoother checkin process for you.
Race Pack collection is mandatory for ALL entrants. This is held on Saturday before the race, at JEZZINE BARRACKS, The Strand from 11am till 4pm.
Yes someone else can pick up your race pack if you cannot due to work reason or other personal reasons. Just make sure you bring the confirmation email of the entrant.

Drink stops are located at approximately 5km intervals along the course. Drink stops have Special drinks, Powerade electrolyte drink and water (in that order).
Your special drinks can be left at Registration on Saturday, 4th August or up until 5.15am Sunday, 5th August. Please place your drinks – marked with your race number and the Drink Stop (DS) number – in the boxes provided. Drink Stops (DS1, DS2 etc) are marked on the course maps provided.
The Hero Run that allows you to register any age can basically walk to 2.5k. If you are pushing a pram- your child will not need to pay, but you will still need to register that baby/ child on the Saturday PRIOR to the Event. So yes, prams are WELCOME! But only eligible in the 2.5K Hero Run.
Printed Course Maps will be available for collection on Race Pack Collection Day, as well as Event Day. Course Maps will also be available in our Official Race Guide which will be out 3 weeks prior to the Festival.

Comfy joggers, energy and your Race Bib which you would have collected in your Race Pack on Saturday.
Feel free to bring along some drinks to place at the Special Drink Stops if you are in one of the long runs!
Presentation are held immediately after the races have been completed and provisional results are all up. This is generally around 10.30AM but is dependent on protests/results. Please bear with us while this is happening.

Merchandise can also be purchased at the time of registration. If there is Merchandise left over, this will be sold at the Merchandise Tent on the Saturday & Sunday.

No you are not permitted to run with an animal nor are you allowed an animal in the Jezzine Barracks area.
Sure will! There is a variety of food stalls available for a post-race snack, as well as fresh fruit available to all of our runners.
Provisional Results will be posted near the admin area after the Race, in the Townsville Bulletin on the Monday after the event and on the official website – www.townsvillerunningfestival.com
Toilets are located at the Race Precinct and along the Course. Please refer to your Race Information Sheet for exact locations of amenities, as these vary between course distances.
Registrations are currently open. Volume-based discounts apply to each race and is a first in best-dressed approach. Normal rates apply thereafter. Normal Entry will close on the 2nd of August at Midnight. Any registrations after this will only be accepted in person on Saturday prior to the event between 11 and 4.
